We were lucky with the weather allowing us to get out and about and walk through the beautiful surrounding Yorkshire countryside, bathed in glowing Autumn colours and explore quaint historic sites and villages, all within easy access without too much driving, accompanied by excellent tea shops!!! A bonus? - Beavers the butchers in Masham make excellent pies and a wide variety of sauasages.

The cottage is on one level throughout, in open countryside with panoramic views. It holds a Gold Award for cleanliness and has electric central heating providing hot water throughout the day and double glazing.

This is a comfortable cottage for two in a peaceful setting with lovely views across open fields. The perfect getaway for two! the location of the cottage is central for exploring a wide area of the Northern Dales, Vale of York and the Eastern flank of the North Yorks Moors.
Lots of interesting villages and places to visit within a short drive. Would highly recommend this cottage for those wanting to relax and re-charge their batteries.

BICYCLES
If you wish to bring bicyles, we have a secure, alarmed building for them free of charge. The Tour de Yorkshire passes close by, as did the Grand Depart and we are on the Sustrans network.
