The Shippon is situated at the foot of Wensleydale, the valley of the River Ure, renowned for its beauty and charm, the widest and most gentle of the Yorkshire Dales. If you want peace and relaxation, where the pace of life is still slow and easy, then come and stay at The Shippon and enjoy perhaps the most beautiful, unspoiled holiday area in the country. Access Statement : There is a tarmac drive outside The Shippon and York stone flags directly outside the access door. Dedicated parking is close by on a gravelled area with automatic courtesy lighting after dark. All this area is on level ground and cars may stand at the door to transfer luggage. The property is accessed via the entry door, where there is a small 4" step and this leads into the vestibule. The interior of the property is level throughout and the adjacent lawns and gardens are also on one level. A Fire Risk Assessment has been completed and is available on request |
